Values In The Wilderness Of East Africa

We praise God for how God keeps circulating the VOICE Curriculum and other Gospel literature that we have been privileged to help publish here in Uganda.  Recently our colleague Beth, traveled to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, for four days of training with the Scripture Union network in that country.  Included in her luggage were 45 sets of the VOICE Truth and Forgiveness Modules plus several hundred copies of Gospel tracts. 

As Beth explained the Biblical values program as being a “voice of one crying in the wilderness” of the schools, the about 50 Christian workers broke out into applause.  All see it as meeting a huge and urgent need among the children and youth and are excited to think such a curriculum could be taught inside the school classrooms during school time by volunteers from the churches.

Tanzania’s major language is Swahili and so the curriculum will need to be translated and published separately for them. Pray with us for God’s plan and provision for these precious neighbors.
